We celebrate our seven finalists medals
Malcolm Hurley, Managing Partner, is again a finalist in the Managing Partner of the Year category - an award he won in 2016. Malcolm has led the firm through a period of sustained, unprecedented growth. Growth that sees us, for the first time, a finalist in the Large Law Firm of the Year category. We all take a great deal of pride in this landmark achievement.
Our young solicitors are also well represented: Jullion Nelson Parker, Dominique Unkovich, Tim Bunker have all been past finalists. This year, Jessica Hanning, from our internationally ranked litigation team, joins their ranks as a finalist in the Young Private Practice Lawyer of the Year.
The property team has also been marked for success, in the highly competitive International Deal of the Year category.
The firm is justly proud of our fourth consecutive nomination as a finalist as Employer of Choice. Having won the award for the past three years we look forward with anticipation, to receiving the trophy in 2017.
We are also proud to be sponsoring the Young In-house Lawyer of the Year and we congratulate the finalists Alice Balme, Queenstown Lakes District Council, Kim Beech, Z energy, Patrick Gamble, Complectus Group, Ricky Hann, Zespri Group Ltd, Megan Potter, Cooper Aitken Ltd, Charlotte Sygrove, Fonterra, Jemma Stevenson, Powerco and Mike Wakefield, Auckland Council.
We also congratulate our clients who are nominated including Mike Wakefield - Auckland Council, Jonathan Earl – KiwiRail, ASB, BNZ, Westpac and Auckland Council. We wish you every success on the night.
