Best Arts or Cultural Sponsorship of the Year - Finalist
We are thrilled to be announced as finalists in the Best Arts or Cultural Event Sponsorship of the Year at the 2017 New Zealand Event Awards.
In 2015, we were introduced to the world of theatre. The Pop-up Globe, a novel concept, promised to put on a full season of Elizabethan plays in a pop-up bespoke theatre made of scaffolding. We were hooked.
The season was enormously popular and hundreds of thousands of people attended a performance (or two). In 2016 we again sponsored the run and cemented our relationship as a Foundation Sponsor.
"At the outset, Pop-up Globe received the support of a major law firm. Anthony Harper were very engaged and an incredibly enthusiastic party to the whole project. The collaboration was warm and a multitude of ideas and observations about the project were shared with the Pop-up Globe to always strive for fantastic shared outcomes. Anthony Harper was an interested observer and a very proactive collaborator. From Pop-up Globe’s perspective Anthony Harper worked alongside the company like ‘the pit team’ offering continuous support for the project and flying the flag." Dr. Miles Gregory, Founder of the Pop-up Globe
We would also like to congratulate the Pop-up Globe who are finalists in the Best Regional Event of the Year category. We wish them every success on the night.
